Serving as an educator for 35 years and a superintendent of schools for 10 of those years, I learned quickly the importance of time away in order to disconnect from the day to day demands of life. Traveling with family and friends is a way I relax and rejuvenate in order to be the best I can be. As a husband and father of two daughters, holiday vacations are a priority for us. We especially enjoy Walt Disney World and several beaches along the way. Most recently we visited all that New York City has to offer. School trips with our daughters include Washington D.C. and San Antonio. A vacation getaway is an important part of being able to relax and a way to deal with life’s demands.
